TrueDepth Camera & Face Data

Vyzen uses Apple's TrueDepth camera through the ARKit framework to perform real-time face and eye tracking. This is the core functionality of the app, enabling eye exercises and games that respond to your gaze direction.

What data is accessed:

• Face position and orientation (pose)
• Left and right eye gaze direction
• Eye blink detection (blend shape values)

How this data is used:

• To estimate where you are looking on screen in real time, powering eye exercises and games
• To detect blinks for blink-based training exercises
• To calibrate gaze accuracy to your individual eyes

What is NOT collected:

• No camera images or video frames are captured, stored, or recorded
• No 3D face mesh or face geometry data is stored
• No raw face or eye tracking streams are saved to disk

Storage: The app stores only minimal calibration data (2D screen coordinate pairs and calibration coefficients), user preferences for gaze sensitivity, and aggregate session summaries (such as session duration and exercise completion). No face data, eye tracking data, images, or biometric information is stored persistently.

Sharing: Face and eye tracking data is never shared with third parties, transmitted over the network, or sent to any server. All TrueDepth camera processing happens entirely on your device in real time and is discarded after each session.

Subscriptions

The app may offer auto-renewable subscriptions through Apple's App Store. Payment processing is handled entirely by Apple. Vyzen does not collect or have access to your payment information.
